Contact Each Other Through E-mail
The sellers' and high bidders' e-mail addresses will be displayed in the "Auction Ended" e-mail both parties receive from us. You should e-mail each other immediately to confirm all terms of the transaction, and acknowledge you are both ready to complete the transaction.
Leave Feedback About Your Transaction
Once the transaction is complete and you have successfully exchanged payment and merchandise with each other, please leave a feedback comment about your experience with the seller/buyer. Helpful Outside Services
The following independent outside parties offer services that you may find helpful before starting or toward the end of your auction. You should negotiate these services prior to the end of your auction.Payments
For Sellers who would like the ability to accept payments by most major credit cards, PayPal is a good choice. PayPal is the most widely used online auction payment service with over 40 million members. With PayPal there are no start-up or monthly fees, no cancellation fees, and no minimum payments, and lower transaction fees than most other merchant accounts.
Another widely recognized online auction payment service is BidPay. Bidpay offers Sellers the ability to accept payments for their auction sales and have the payment sent directly to them by mailing a Western Union® branded money order, or, if the seller is located in the U.S., by sending a payment directly to the Seller’s U.S. checking account. BidPay services are free to Sellers.
Escrow.com offers escrow services for a small fee for Buyers and Sellers. With escrow, both Buyers and Sellers are protected from fraud as all monies are held by a third party (Escrow.com) until at such time the transaction is verified as completed. Escrow can be especially useful for large transactions.
Shipping
To help take the guesswork out of how much to charge for shipping your item to the winning bidder (s), visit these links to calculate shipping rates, compare their services, and negotiate the services offered by each.
Sellers, when using one of the above agencies to ship items to your buyers, we suggest providing your customers with the appropriate tracking number for their package. Doing so will indicate professionalism, and make your buyers feel more comfortable while waiting for their item to arrive. Insurance
If you need to insure the item(s) you are shipping, most shipping companies offer insurance at very reasonable rates. It is always a good idea to insure items with a value of $50 or more.
